David and I have given all we have toward this ministry. We used all of our savings and retirement fund in 2008 to begin the Sanctuary, a transitional home for women. Southern Blessings was created to support the home.
We are believing God for His intervention so we may continue to operate.
I did not know I would become ill just a few months after stepping out in faith to begin a new ministry. I have been disabled since Feb. 09.
Thank you for all you have done. Without your prayers and intervention, I don't think I would have lived through my illness and following accident. Please pray for us and consider making a monthly pledge or joining with friends to sponsor a needy woman.
The Sanctuary can house up to 6 women. Funds are used to pay for the mortgage, utilities, transportation, medications, Dr. co-pays, personal needs etc. We have no house phone and closed our P.O. Box to save funds.
